Arrival to Tübingen

Tübingen is located on the Neckar, about 40 kilometers south of Stuttgart, between the nature park Schönbuch and the Swabian Alb. In the “city of short distances” shops and sights are usually centrally located and are easily accessible on foot. All other destinations are connected to the public transport network.

By train
In 45 or 55 minutes from Stuttgart main station (ICE connection) to the center of Tübingen.

By bus
There are several intercity bus routes to and from Tübingen, including Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt am Main, Freiburg, Constance and Karlsruhe.

By car
From the A8 exit Stuttgart Degerloch on the B27 in 30 minutes, from the A81 exit Herrenberg on the B28 in 25 minutes to Tübingen.

By plane
From Stuttgart airport in 25 minutes by car or in 50 minutes by airport bus. The Airportsprinter runs from Monday to Friday every half hour, on Saturdays and on Sundays and public holidays every hour to Tübingen.
