6 years ago, in 2013, I was for the first time in Germany. It was also my first experience in another country. As an exchange student, I had no idea about this program exactly. Since then I was curious about if and how much do the students know about this program.
I produce this blog as my master thesis for my study „Media Sciences M.A.“ at University of Eberhard Karls Tübingen. In this blog, I want to introduce „Exchange Buddy Program“ through interviews with buddies and experts, Vlog with my Buddy, statistics…
Purpose of this blog is awareness for „Exchange Buddy Program“ and stories of Buddies. This blog as my master thesis also aims using different mediums like videos, photos, audios and social media accounts.

I am Cagatay Özalp (26). I was born in Antalya, Turkey. Since 6 years I live in Tübingen, Germany. In 2013, I came to Tübingen as an Erasmus Student for 2 semesters. I studied Political Science and International Relations at the University of Istanbul. In 2016, I started to study „Media Sciences Master of Arts“ at the University of Tübingen.
